About Odubek Farms Limited

It all began with a vision that the Managing Director, Mr Oduro Bekoe Ebenezer had directing him to go into poultry business. He therefore consulted Mr Akati of Akati farms fame who also inspired him and took him through how the industry works. He then told his wife, Mrs Pascaline Oduro Bekoe about his vision and she also bought into it. He therefore started with 1000 layer birds in his residence in 2007. His wife took keen interest in the project and assisted in taking care of the birds. Production was good with low mortality rates. This whet his appetite for the business. This was the starting point of what will transform into a bigger dream which led him to acquire land in akuakrom in the sekyere East District of the ashanti region. He started commercial farming with 18000 birds in 2012. Within its first year of operations, the farms was adjudged the best poultry farm in the distict in 2013. The following year the company was incorporated as a limited liability company. As is usually said, nothing good comes easy. Fluctuating feed prices, shortages of feed materials, High Electricity costs/unstable power supplies, diseases, and numerous taxes have been the bane of the industry.
